The scenery at old city Shibam at Provience of Hadramaut , Yemen. The city built at 16th centuries. There is around 500 building with many kind of size and was created using solidified mud. Hadramaut has leaved many kind of historical relic and become the beginning of cultural development of Yemen.

Someone at blogcatalog gave me an URL site address to show me something unique and different. That’s a Youtube video about two men have made amazing voices collaboration. At the first, each of them perform their skill or talent to many people from Google at London, UK.

Nathan “Flutebox” Lee showed his talent skill in play a flute combine with voice and blowing natural effect. While, Beardyman showed singing performance by adapt sound of musical instrument. At the end, they performed talent collaboration. The result is really amazing, no guitar, piano, bass, etc .. only depend on their voice skill.

When I was watching the video, there was around 3,5 million users already viewed it and 19,7 thousand rated it with 5 stars. Watch the top talent show video below :

Many quirky designs and unique costume come in Sao Paulo Fashion Week (SPWF) yesterday. The show of winter clothes was like a such combat arena of unique ideas between designers. There was a hat lady made from lamp shades, long dress with table shape and the most prominent is model by Alexandre Herchcovitch. His face was painted with paint like skull to look perfectly combinet with clothes that was exhibited. Really creative, but who would dare to dress like that and walk in public places.

Haiti earthquake left so many damage and sorrow. People almost loss everything. Parents are still looking for their kids, otherwise the kids still looking for their parents and family. But how the way a baby done it?

This is Miracle

Beyond to difficult circumstance in Haiti, there is unusual moment. Something extraordinary happened when Deiby Celestino was the TV crew’s interpreter from the Dominican Republic have been successfully pull 16 month old girl out from the ruins of house on January 15 then he passed the baby to Australian journalist Mike Amor.

Almost three days or exactly 68 hours a baby with no food and no drink, trapping in collapsed building but able to survive during the time and she was looked OK when Mike hold her. She just a baby, but she is a part of hundreds or thousands people who fight to get them out, not only from the trapped ruins but also step to future life.

Wherever they are and whatever their condition now, we wish they have high spirit to take them out from this condition.

Earthquakes Today at Haiti

Republic of Haiti, one of Caribbean country was struck by catastrophic 7.0 SR earthquake on Tuesday, January 12, 2010. The epicenter just 15 kilometers southwest of capital, Port-au-Prince. That is so closed distance and badly affected to the areas around it, destroy major places, facilities and infrastructure that already built and developed since years a go.

Indonesia Earthquakes
This condition might be remind us to the same disaster with magnitude 9.3 SR, at Asia. Indonesia got mostly bad impact was caused extremely tsunami in December 26, 2004, A day after Christmas. Almost a half of total 230,000 estimated victims were death in this country. Then, followed by so many earthquakes was happened at some areas at Sumatra, Java, and Irian Island. For example, earthquake at Jogja (May 27, 2006, 5.9 SR), Pangandaran (July 17. 2006, 6.8 SR), Manokwari (Januari 4, 2009, 7.2SR), and Tasikmalaya (September 2, 2009, 7.3 SR). Those are really tragical moment.

Twelve days after New Year
And now, Haiti, a country with total area 27.7 square kilometers was facing the same condition. Widespread destruction affected from this quake. The Presidential Palace, the grandest building in Haiti also collapse. Unknown how many victims there. the Prime Minister, Jean-Max Belleriv believed a hundred thousand people was death.

Haiti known as the poor country and this circumstance will increase the suffers of people there. Not only a big number of death victims but also thousands citizen will loss their home, job, and everything they have before. Socking people everywhere, sadness and tears found in every country’s area, loss their family and many of them still looking for one and others hope their relation still alive.

What Will You Get According Person Like Akhawari?

John Stephen Akhwari was marathon athlete who represented Tanzania at the 1968 Summer Olympic in Mexico City. He finished the race at the last place among 74 competitors. Nothing special, nothing to be proud and exactly that was really bad result for an athlete, wasn’t it?

But who is the real Akhwari? There’s nice story about his experience of life, very inspiring and full of motivation. During the race, 1968, his leg bloody and bandaged because of badly cutting knees and dislocating joint. He passed every step with pain and hobble. But he never gave up and with a lot of determination, he still had motivation for one purpose, “Finish the race”.

At the time, the medals had been given to the winners. When many of spectators leaved the place, suddenly Akhwari entered stadium with his bad injured condition. He passed the finish line successfully and got applause and high appreciation from remain of them.

He said, “My country did not send me from 7,000 miles to start a race, they sent me to finish the race.”

So, what you got from his experience?
I just want to share with you that he might not be a winner of this competition but he already be a winner for himself, fight the pain and fight his worries to achieve one purpose “Finish the race”.
If you now fell desperate and no hope, think again and again, get up and say to yourself that “I must.. I must finish my work, my objective and my purpose of life.” No one exactly know about your plan or some achievement that you want to reach. Just fill your heart and thought with full of motivation and declare that you can do the best and be a winner of yourself. Pray for being strong and built a huge hope. You take control of your life.

I toke my earphone and fixed it at my ears. I turn on the Winamp and started to choose several relaxing mp3 song to put it in playlist. Unintentionally, I found a song “Dance with My Father” in my computer folder. I was not familiar with the title so I played it firstly for just want to know. Here is what I have listened when enjoyed break time in my office :

Who’s the singer?
After listen it, I think you will fully agree with me if I say that it is a really pretty song. Luther Vandross have gave soul to this song through his silky voice. Not only good in rhythm and voice, “Dance with My Father” also give emotional content about love and relationship which ever felt and experienced along his life. He told about how someone fell when loose a father or someone who you love so much. At any moment, the longing sense will merge and someone would be back at the past, memorize all the thing when they are together.

Luther Vandross (54), American R&B singer died at July 1, 2005. He suffered delibitating stroke since April 2003. During his musician carrier as a singer, he won 4 Grammy Awards from his 4 different albums. Good achievement, alright? He might leaved a lot of fans, but his masterpiece and song’s albums always remain us about life, value of love and relationship each others.
